The Best Fudge Recipe Ever
The Best Fudge Recipe Ever
From: Uncle B
Serves: 1 (because you are not going to want to share)
Ingredients:
4 cups white sugar
1 cup milk (skin, 1%, 2%, doesn't matter)
1 cup butter (I use margarine)
1 Tbsp vanilla
25 large marshmallows
13 ounces milk chocolate
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2 ounces unsweetened Baker's chocolate
Directions:
In a deep pot, slowly bring sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla to a boil, stirring constantly. Continue to stir and boil for two minutes. Remove from heat if your burner stays hot.
Add marshmallows, stirring to melt.
Add each type of chocolate one at a time, melting one completely before adding the next. You may want to add a little more heat if things aren't melting.
Pour into a greased 9x12 inch cake pan.
Cool and cut unto cubes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can also add nuts or mint extract or other flavors for a variety.
